Articles and the local worksheet work without optional storage. Open cookie settings to change your choice. Policy date: October 21, 2026.
A real choice
Accept optional enables reading-position memory on this device. Reject optional leaves it off. Settings lets you choose that feature individually. Closing the settings panel without saving does not accept it. Missing, invalid or expired choices default to off.
The footer and the fixed Cookie settings link reopen the controls. Without JavaScript, the policy remains available and the optional reading feature is not used. Existing site data can also be removed through your browser’s controls.
Storage inventory
Reading-feature storage
| Name / type | Purpose and data | Duration and control |
|---|
pfg_privacy_v1 First-party cookie | Preference version, optional reading choice and timestamp. Written after a deliberate saved choice, scoped to this website path. | Maximum 180 days. A new choice replaces it; browser site-data controls can remove it. |
|---|
pfg_reading_v1 Optional localStorage | Article paths, reading positions and timestamps. Initialized only after reading-position consent, including an empty record on non-article pages. No analytics or advertising events. | Entries at least 180 days old are ignored when read. Expired entries are removed on the next saved reading-position write, where browser access permits; each such write saves at most 30 records. Reading alone does not rewrite localStorage. Rejecting or disabling the option attempts to remove the record. Unused localStorage may remain until a later saved reading-position write, rejection or removal through browser controls. |
|---|
Worksheet values and topic filter Current-page state, not stored data | Numeric amounts, selected scenario, confirmation checkbox and article category. No cookie or localStorage record is written by these tools. | Reset clears worksheet values and result. No server submission. Browser restoration is separate from the worksheet. |
|---|
Other website technologies
The local worksheet and reading controls do not include analytics, advertising tags or third-party media players. Other WordPress plugins, embedded content and hosting services can operate separately. Reading-preference controls govern only the reading feature; they do not control those services or establish a complete inventory of the website.
WordPress sign-in and administration may use separate authentication cookies for signed-in users. These reading controls do not remove authentication cookies, email, server logs or records at linked websites. This list describes reading-feature storage and any additional details the publisher has supplied.
Worksheet values are not stored
The pay-record worksheet keeps numeric entries only in current-page state; it does not write a cookie or localStorage record. Reset clears its inputs and result. Browser session restoration is a separate browser behavior, so do not leave private values on a shared screen.
Withdrawal and duration
Rejecting optional storage stops new reading-position saves and attempts to remove the saved reading record. The preference cookie lasts up to 180 days; browsers may remove it sooner. If storage is blocked, optional behavior stays off and the feature reports the limitation. A choice applies to this browser and website path, not every device you use.
Scope of these controls
These controls govern the publication’s reading feature. They are not a universal blocker for hosting logs, separately added technologies or external sites. The default reader implementation contains no analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting and other installed software may have separate behavior described in the Privacy Policy.
